APA Hotel TKP Keikyu Kawasaki Ekimae

Handy for a quick stay, with both Keikyu Kawasaki and JR Kawasaki stations just a 3-5 minute walk away.

I stay at this APA regularly. The rooms are compact but work well, and there’s a fridge and everything else I need. The air conditioning is really good, the room was clean, and the staff are lovely. There’s plenty nearby to do, and the trains are convenient.

There’s loads of food and shopping less than a five-minute walk away, and my room even had a great view. For the price, the tiny room suited me fine since I was out most of the day and evening. It was my first time at APA, and I really liked it. The bed takes up most of the space, with just a small desk and a very minimal bathroom, but nothing felt wasted. It was the smallest hotel room I’ve stayed in, and also the cheapest. I’d happily stay again. I’d skip the breakfast, though, at 1000¥.

The area was fairly quiet, and it’s close to a train station. The staff seemed friendly, and there were plenty of amenities. Just be aware that the lobby is nicely air-conditioned, but the elevator and outdoor hallways aren’t. The room’s AC was slow to cool things down, so this may not be a good choice in summer, especially if you’ll arrive tired.
