Ryokan Akemiso

My mother wanted to eat good seafood, so we came here on a family trip. Dinner's sashimi, sea urchin, and other sashimi were excellent, and the sea urchin was still moving after we had finished eating it. It was so fresh, and we were very satisfied. The owner and landlady were both friendly and chatted with us a lot. It made for a very satisfying family trip.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, the onsen was wonderful, and there was a special meal every day. The people here are incredibly kind and make your stay a joy. I highly recommend it to everyone. It's admirable that the owners rebuilt their business after the 2011 tsunami and remain cheerful, even though tourism in the region is still below where it was before the major earthquake.

We spent about four nights at Ryokan Akemiso and felt at home from the start. The atmosphere was warm and familiar, and the staff were attentive and very kind, making sure we were comfortable throughout. We looked forward to both meals each day. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, with carefully prepared dishes made from local ingredients. The onsen helped us unwind, and the whole place was kept spotless and comfortable. We're grateful for such a memorable stay and would love to return. Thank you for your hospitality.
