Guest House Boku

The service was excellent, and there are several good room options. I could choose between a traditional Japanese tatami room that easily fits three people and a more modern wooden room with attractive dark furnishings. It’s only five minutes from a Lawsons, handy for picking up toast and butter in the morning.

The owner was friendly and easy to chat with, and the guesthouse was very clean and well cared for. Meals aren’t included, but there’s a convenience store close by and the town is within easy reach. Finding the place can be tricky since you turn off the main road onto a narrow street, so check the map before you go. We had a really pleasant stay.

The kids were completely absorbed and had a great time snorkeling. The owner, who used to be an aquarium keeper, was so kind and helpful, and we learned a lot from him. It made a fantastic memory. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to snorkel! 😊

Kushimoto is a little out of the way, but the owner made us feel at home and really improved our trip. He’s incredibly kind and goes out of his way to help, even driving guests around when needed. We went on a day trip with him, too. I’d absolutely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.
