The barbecue was amazing, and the bath felt great. Both the room and the outdoor deck were clean and comfortable. We went in summer, but it was cool outside, and the air conditioning worked so well it was almost too cold. Such a satisfying trip. I’d like to come back!

We had a really relaxing weekend in what felt like a luxurious private villa. It was spacious, with stylish furnishings that reminded me of a Western home, and the natural spa was great too. Getting there made me a little uneasy, though. The mountain roads were narrow and confusing, and there were run-down villas nearby.

The room was clean, though the shower took a while to get hot. Check-in and check-out are handled over the phone. There aren’t many streetlights on the way there, which felt a little scary, and at night you can barely make out the scenery outside.

It’s in a quiet spot, a short walk from the Ida Mizu Villa bus stop, south of the Kirishima Miyama Concerts intersection toward Kirishima Golf Course. The previous owner showed me around inside. ◎
