My friend and I booked this “inn” specifically because it offered shuttle service to and from the nearby Kagoshima Airport. We sent our requested pick-up and drop-off times two days ahead, but never heard back. We ended up walking to the hotel along an unlit, windy, dangerous road with no pedestrian path. The property was decrepit when we got there, overrun with cats and garbage, with flickering lights and apparently no staff or guests. Some room doors were open, and there was trash and cobwebs everywhere. A posted phone number was no longer in service. After calling for help for a few minutes, we decided to get away because the area seemed quite unsafe. DO NOT RESERVE this place. Based on what we reasonably observed, it no longer seemed to be an operating hotel. I’ll notify Google and Rakuten. The owners should have done so themselves, and I hope others can avoid what we experienced.
