The lobby is lovely, the staff are helpful, and the hotel offers a handy shuttle to the station. The main building is what the hotel advertises, but our room was in the annex across the street. There’s no elevator in that building, and since we were on the third floor, each trip out for dinner or breakfast meant crossing the road and climbing the stairs again. If you can, request a room in the main building. Everything else was good, though the hotel should explain the separate-building arrangement and the inconvenience it can cause more clearly.

The staff were so helpful and nice. Even in freezing, snowy weather, they came out to the street to see me off. My Japanese-style tatami room was very comfortable, and I slept really well. Both the indoor and outdoor onsen were lovely.

We had a traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast, both delicious and beautifully prepared, and the location was stunning and peaceful. A private onsen in our room made our honeymoon stay extra special. We also got to enjoy a large sake cup, which was a fun, memorable experience. The hotel was a fantastic choice for celebrating, and we won’t forget it. 🍶🌸

The outside tub was a nice spot to sit, and the onsen was pleasant and worked well. I really enjoyed this Ryokan Onsen. My room was spacious and even had a kotatsu, which was fun.

The staff were lovely, and the food was the most delicious. We stayed two nights in the annex, across the little road from the very old main building. The annex is beautiful and brand new, but clearly very well thought out. I’ve attached a picture.
