The shower rooms, toilets, dining room, and refrigerator are shared. You can park in the lot in front of Oasa Ground. On my previous stay, I got a free ticket for Tahara Onsen, which has since closed, and drove about 20 minutes to go there.
The room is heated with a kerosene fan heater and has a nostalgic CRT television. It looks as if the place might once have been an apartment, though there is a shower room.
I called at 11 pm and said I wanted to come right away. They answered angrily, “What? We’re fully booked.”
This used to be a dormitory, so there’s no air conditioning.
It’s a hotel where you can feel at ease and don’t have to be too formal.
