We mostly needed a few quiet days off from all the walking and constant activity on our holiday, and this place was perfect for that. There isn’t much to see or do nearby, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. It’s a short walk to the beach, the station, a convenience store, and two supermarkets. The bed was the coziest we’ve had in hotels on this trip, with a firm mattress. They also lend out small bikes for free. They worked fine, and we rode 20 km through the hills in one day. We’re traveling around Japan for three weeks on a budget, and this is our second trip here. Hotels in this price range are usually okay, but this one was a step above. The staff were especially kind and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but good, with croissants, chocolate bread, cereal, yogurt, honey, and two kinds of jam.

The rooms were fine, if a little small, and the bunk beds were a clever idea. There was a smell that seemed like plastic being made in the area. What really disappointed me was breakfast. We booked because the hotel advertised six kinds of freshly baked bread and pastries, plus soup and other food, on its website, Instagram, and Booking. When we came down at 7:45, with breakfast ending at 8:30, there were no pastries or soup. The buffet had sandwiches, onigiri, salad, and a few small sides instead. I’m vegetarian, so the pastries would have suited me better, and I’d been looking forward to fresh croissants and pain au chocolat. When I asked, the staff said the menu had changed starting that day, 10/2. I understand menus can change, and perhaps such a big pastry selection wasn’t sustainable, but it should have been made clearer in advance. Every Instagram post still featured those signature baked goods, and other reviews suggest they’re a big reason people choose this hotel. The change with no proper notice left me very disappointed. I won’t come back.

The parking lot is a little far from the hotel, but the place itself was quiet, clean, and had a good breakfast for Western tastes. The staff were friendly, and my husband and I enjoyed our stay. We’re glad we chose it and would recommend it. ;)

The staff were welcoming, and breakfast tasted good, though it was mostly Western-style. There was bread but no rice, which felt unusual for Japan. The hotel is only about a two-minute walk from the station. The room was a small, basic Japanese business hotel room, and there wasn’t a large public bath. 😐 🙂 😮 😄

I stayed here for a business trip. It’s close to the station, and the room was clean and comfortable for sleeping. Breakfast was simple, so it may not be enough if you prefer rice. Smoking is banned throughout the building; there’s one ashtray in the parking lot beside it.
