The room’s control tablet just loops on “welcome” and doesn’t work, and the “tv” asks for some mystery password we weren’t given. Check-in took about 20 minutes. The window is hard to open and close, and the air conditioner is very weak. Pretty bad hotel. Update: since the tablet is broken, the door can’t lock either, and now we’re spending more precious time trying to sort it out with the online staff.

The check-in process was bad.

The room was spacious and easily fit three people, and it takes about 5-8 minutes by road to get to Mojiko Retro. But the place is tucked in an alley and has only three parking spaces, so we used a nearby lot. Late at night, the tablet malfunctioned badly while we were paying the accommodation tax. We had a hard time and couldn’t get into the room. In the end, we paid cash at checkout. The stay was good for the price and it seems like a great budget option, but the parking and tax payment method need improvement.

There are only three parking spaces, but a paid lot is about a three-minute walk away. A convenience store is also just a short walk away, handy if you get hungry in the middle of the night. Our family of five had plenty of room, and we were very satisfied. I took off one star because the bathroom had only a shower.

I never got a check-in number. I called the inquiry center but couldn’t get through for a long time, and ended up waiting outside for an hour. Even if you can’t reach them by phone, please keep trying.
