Parking was reasonably priced, and the staff were kind. Breakfast was tasty too. A lovely hotel.

I was glad to get a room with a view of the Shinkansen trains during my two-night stay in Nov 2023. The room was clean, though small. Kokura Station is an easy 5-10 minute walk, depending on luggage and whether it's raining. Their Japanese style breakfast is usually something I enjoy, but the choices on day one weren't great. It improved the next morning, thankfully. A good base if you're planning to use Kokura Station.

The main downside was having just one elevator. I stayed in room 213. Service was good, and breakfast was free. It's close to Kokura station.

Getting to my room took over three minutes because I had to wait for the only elevator. There's no stair option. Apart from that, it was really clean and nice.

The room stayed neat and clean, and the simple breakfast was good. For a budget hotel, it's a great place. I'd stay here again.
