Oshio-Urabandai Onsen Hotel Kanzan

The facilities are clean. The spring water is clear and has no smell or slippery feel, though it’s very salty, as you’d expect from this area’s name. The open-air bath uses heated tap water.

I spent two nights and three days at Kanzan Hotel and had a wonderful time. The food was fresh and delicious, and my room was spacious, clean, and relaxing. I was surprised to find hot water already in the kettle, a thoughtful touch. Everyone was kind and friendly, and the owner personally welcomed guests. He looked very cool! I was also so happy to receive homemade cookies. Kanzan Hotel team, thanks for the warm hospitality and lovely stay. 😍❤️

They greeted us warmly as soon as we got out of the car. The room was a clean Japanese-style tatami room, and the food was decent, though I didn’t really like the taste. There aren’t many things to see nearby because it’s in the mountains, and walking around in the snow was inconvenient. There is a hot spring, but I didn’t use it. 🤣🤣

It was a great stay. The hotel staff were very welcoming, the food was prepared with a lot of care, and the shops inside the hotel were very affordable. ❤️👍
