Resort In Marion Shinano

The staff were kind, polite, and always ready to help, which made the stay feel welcoming. My room was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, a cozy place to come back to after being out in the cold. The facilities are simple, but everything worked and I had what I needed. Resort Inn Marion Shinano is in a lovely, peaceful spot surrounded by nature, and especially convenient for visiting the Shinano/Nozawa area. I had a very pleasant, relaxing stay and would gladly return. Thanks for looking after me!

We spent five nights in a Japanese-style room. It was about average in size for Japan, and the hotel gave us an extra room for the last three nights, which made things much more comfortable. The owner and staff were accommodating when we arrived late and when we asked for an earlier breakfast so we could get to the slopes sooner. We only ate breakfast there. It was good quality and deliciously different. Western guests may find the Western-style breakfast more familiar, though it wasn’t exactly bacon and eggs, more like a Japanese take on them. The service was impeccable, and we’d stay again.

The room was very good and had all the amenities. I enjoyed the stay, and the buffet breakfast and dinner were good. As a vegetarian, I was satisfied with the food they prepared for me on request.

The skiing slope is right beside the hotel. The tatami room was lovely and clean, the staff spoke several languages, and the buffet meals were delicious.
