We went in summer, and the dinner was really delicious. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest bus stop.

The check-in time at this inn is 3:30 PM. It was raining that day and I had nowhere to go, so I tried arriving around 3:00 PM, although I knew it was a long shot. The owner said, “We’re still getting ready...” and took me to the dining room. Then, around 3:10 PM, he said, “We’re ready now.” It didn’t look like anyone had been preparing or moving around, so it felt as though he just didn’t want me to check in before the stated time. Maybe he was concerned about the electricity bill? Obvious lies aren’t okay.

There’s a drying room, and the ski resort is easy to get to. The building uses a lot of wood, and the underfloor heating kept it comfortable. The food was good, and the drinks were reasonably priced. We stayed here for ice fishing and skiing. They’ll deep-fry the icefish you catch.
