APA Hotel Kobe Sannomiya

My first stay at an APA hotel, and I was disappointed that there wasn't a non-smoking option for me. I've never stayed in a smoking room like this before. I did appreciate the staff member who helped me, though.

The room was worn, damp, and not clean. I found short black hairs in the bed and bathroom when I arrived, the bed sagged and looked very worn, and the toilet hadn't been cleaned properly. Noise was another problem: I could clearly hear sounds from nearby rooms and every movement in the hallway. I can't recommend staying here. From outside, the hotel looks inviting, and the lobby feels fresh and welcoming. The location is good, close to the nearest train station, and the check-in staff were friendly.

The front desk and cleaning staff were kind and patient, even though I barely speak Japanese. I was impressed with the technology, and the shower had great water pressure. It's a compact, eco-friendly hotel with good food places and convenience stores nearby, and the station is just a short walk away. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, eco-friendly stay.

The room was clean and didn't smell of smoke, even though I booked a smoking room to get the cheaper price. It was just right, with a good bed and shower. The price was great through agoda, and the hotel is handy for a big station connecting several lines. The staff were friendly, and one spoke English when I checked in. Having the reservation number made using the check-in machines easy. Laundry is on the first floor, and convenience stores are close by.
