Daiichi Grand Hotel Kobe Sannomiya

I’d planned to stay one night, but ended up staying three. The location was great for getting to the places I wanted, though having the bar and club area down the street was the one downside for me. The first room was a clean twin with good Wi-Fi, working AC, and a separate shower and toilet. The heat worked very well. On my last night I was moved to a double on a higher floor. Its combined shower and toilet had some hairs, the Wi-Fi was weaker, and the AC’s heater stayed cold for a while before warming up. I asked to switch rooms, but they said they couldn’t, even though I saw rooms available online. They did give me a blanket, which kept me warm. There were complimentary drinks and room supplies on the first floor. I’d book again and choose a twin. Breakfast smelled good in the morning, though I’d need to ask whether they can accommodate dietary requirements. It was a nice stay overall, with a few inconveniences on the last night.

We enjoyed the happy hour drinks, coffee machine, water dispenser, public bath, and lovely breakfast. The service, price, and amenities were all excellent.

I had two peaceful nights here and really enjoyed my stay. The public bath was good, and I especially liked the KIRIBI purification sendoff at checkout. The location right beside Ikuta Shrine is great. Thanks for having me.

The room was very spacious and had a city view, and the service was perfect. The hotel is right in the city center, less than a 10-minute walk from both the JR and metro stations, so getting around was easy. I also liked the lobby coffee machine, the compact but relaxing 1F bathing area, free juice and WINE!!! from 1700 to 1900, and a free rice ball from 2000-2200. I'd stay here again if I visit Kobe.
