The room was extremely narrow, and it was hard to fit luggage into any of the available cabinets.

The location is perfect and the price is extremely affordable. There’s a private entrance, and the translation system works well if you don’t speak Japanese. The hotel was mostly clean, though the shower curtain had a little mold on it.

There was no coffee or tea in the room, but the little microwave was handy. It was a small efficiency room, though acceptable. The shower curtain had a little mold on it.

The cleaning was up to the usual high Japanese standard, and there’s free Wi-Fi, which is always useful when traveling. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Even if you don’t understand Japanese, they’ll help you with the laundromat near reception and anything else you need. My room had a microwave, tea water boiler, refrigerator, big TV, hairdryer, air conditioner, and an air purifier and humidifier. You can borrow a clothes iron at reception. Breakfast is served at the Max Cafe. It’s a new hotel from 2018. Check the prices and check in!

The staff are lovely, and the room is good too. I love staying at Livemax. I’d be happy to come back if I visit Kobe City again.
