Getting around was a big plus. You can reach the hotel without leaving Hankyu station, and the Portliner is only a few steps away, handy for an early flight from Kobe Airport. I also liked that all the rooms are high up, so you don't have to worry about getting a nice view. The staff were great. They even let me leave my suitcase a day before check-in, which is rare in my experience. The website says there's a 100 yen charge, but they did it for free. Breakfast was excellent, especially the cheerful restaurant staff. There were plenty of Western and warm options when I wanted a break from Japanese breakfast. I only wish it started before 7 a.m. For a building this tall, hotels at such a reasonable price are unusual, so I tried it during my Kobe stay. It was definitely worth paying a few bucks more than for another APA or Fresa Inn room. My room was modern and nice, about standard size for Japan. I liked having the sink by the entrance, outside the bathroom.

The rooms are all on the 18th floor or higher, so the view is spectacular. Mine was clean, modern, and even had a massage chair. The hotel is well maintained, and the staff were helpful and polite. It's on top of a major railway station, with plenty of malls and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend.

The room was spotless and modern, with a stunning view over Kobe, and the location is incredible. We'd absolutely stay at Remm again. The service was easily the best we've had at a hotel in Japan. I left my backpack, with my laptop and all my personal belongings, at our previous hotel in Kyoto. Since we don't speak Japanese, Emura, the front desk manager, immediately contacted Hotel Keihan Kyoto Grande for us and arranged the shipment. The next morning the front desk told us it had arrived and was ready to pick up. It came back in perfect condition. We can't thank Emura enough for helping us through what could have been a chaotic, stressful situation. The Remm team went above and beyond and made it clear that guest care comes first.

We had an amazing sea view from our 24th-floor room at Remm Plus. The room was very clean, seemed larger than most in Japan, and had a bed big enough for us, so space wasn't an issue. The hotel is right next to Sannomiya station, with lots of restaurants and shopping streets nearby. The ropeway to the herb gardens (you should definitely go, by the way) and Shin Kobe station are about a 20-minute walk away. Breakfast is quite expensive. The bar is meant to close at 23:00, but when we arrived ten minutes before 22:00, they wouldn't serve us anymore. Even with those downsides, we had a pleasant two-night stay at a great hotel with a great location and amazing views.

Right in the heart of Kobe, with easy access to transport, shopping, and dining, Remm Sannomiya was a great place to stay. The hotel was quiet and spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I liked the modern, efficient room design and would highly recommend it if you value comfort, cleanliness, and convenience.
