V Hotel (Adult Only)

*Watch out for coupon problems. I use this service every month, and the coupon has been updated. The official site says it gives 20% off breaks with no time restriction. The previous break coupon was valid until 10 PM. I checked in at 9:30 PM, and all the rooms apart from the A and S ranks were fully booked. As usual, I asked about the coupon and was told, “It’s not valid for breaks at this time, but it’s valid for overnight stays.” They didn’t explain when the restriction ended. It felt like they were adjusting it depending on how busy the rooms were. In the end, I paid over 8,000 yen for an hour and a half and a cup of tea (150 yen). If I were there alone, I’d just refuse and leave. But I was with a client, so I couldn’t just pick a room and say the coupon wasn’t valid. Please make the terms clear. They have various warnings, but leaving out the key times when the coupon can’t be used is tantamount to fraud. A flat rate like before would make sense. The price varies a lot by rank, so it’s just too expensive if the coupon doesn’t apply. I could understand this at the CHIC level, but I was shocked to pay 8,700 yen for an hour and a half at V Hotel.

The service is bad, and many of the cleaning staff are unreasonable. Sometimes they stand next to the hotel talking, making it hard to get in. I wouldn’t give it even one star.

There was a water server, and the amenities were ZIRA. The bath and sink were clean, and the room had a hair iron/curling iron. It smelled of nicotine, but I was satisfied.

The jetted bathtub smelled moldy, and the place was dirty to begin with. At checkout I ran into a contractor who just glared at me and wouldn’t let me pass. Who did he think he was? They also added a service fee on top of the accommodation charge, which I don’t understand.
