7 Days Hotel

We've stayed twice with our children, booking two rooms joined by a door. It's a new, clean budget hotel, with free morning breakfast of baked goods and coffee. The rooms are on the small side, and on-site parking is limited, so you need to find the parking annex. It's also a short walk from Kochi Station, and the tram from the station stops two blocks away. The hotel is about 15 minutes on foot from the castle, Hirome Ichiba, and the Sunday Market. The nearby neighborhood is a little dull, but the Obiya-machi covered shopping arcade is less than ten minutes away, which matters with how much it rains in Kochi. The hotel seems to draw people visiting town for weddings. If we came back to Kochi City, though that's not certain since it's out of the way for us, we'd probably look for a place in Tojinmachi, nearer Hirome Ichiba and the castle, since it has more character. Still, this is a good option if you're after a budget hotel.

For the price, the room size and condition were pretty good. Everything is smaller than in America, but the room was clean and comfortable.

A solid basic business hotel in a great location, with a lovely lobby. Breakfast is included with the rooms, and there's parking on site.

Really helpful staff all around. Arigato 🙏🏾. I'd highly recommend this place if you need a rest while doing the Shikuko pilgrimage.
