Our family of four had a really nice stay at this motel-style hotel. There are plenty of parking options, and the location works well if you're traveling by car.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and shoes-free, so there was no need for slippers. Ours was 25 square meters, with twin queen-size beds, each 154 cm wide. I've never stayed somewhere this roomy so close to Kochi Station, and it seems like good value for families. The Kochi branch has 14 rooms across two floors, including one that welcomes dogs. I'd visited Kochi many times without knowing this place was near the station. It's tucked away from the main road and doesn't appear on sites like Jalan, Rakuten Travel, or Yahoo Travel. The chain seems to have locations across Japan. I recognized its bear logo from the brochures at Yoshinogawa SA. There's free bread, apple juice, and coffee from 7 to 9 am. The croissants were delicious. Parking is free, too.
I visited during summer vacation in 2025. The inn is less than a ten-minute walk from Kochi Station, with convenience stores and drugstores nearby. It's in a residential neighborhood, so the surroundings feel calm. There's parking too, making it easy to get here by car or train. A dependable place to stay wherever you are.
The hotel is very clean and hygienic throughout, including the first-floor restrooms outside. It also has no dog smell, and hardly any of that usual hotel or ryokan odor, which I think is impressive. One thing to remember: please don't take your dog into the front desk area. I was warned about it myself, so be careful not to put other guests in that position. Since the place is so well kept, I hope everyone, myself included, takes care of it and does their best to keep things clean and tidy.
I made a mistake and only discovered when I got to the Kochi branch that I'd booked the Takamatsu branch instead. The owner kindly contacted Takamatsu, canceled my reservation without a fee, and arranged a room so we could check in smoothly. I'm very grateful for the help.
