The food is the real strength here, and it was overwhelmingly delicious. You can pick Japanese or Western dishes for both breakfast and dinner, and everything was high quality. I’d suggest staying two nights so you can try both styles. It’s also only a three-minute walk from Hoeicho Station. The name Prince Hotel might suggest the luxury chain, but this seems to be an unrelated, retro Showa-era hotel. It’s generally dated, so I wouldn’t recommend it if interior design matters to you.

This inn is used by local economic organizations, and the breakfast was sumptuous. They provided three bottles of Tosa's original dressing, which made the salad delicious.

The hotel is old, and the room had a dusty smell. The public bath was too hot, while the sauna barely got hot at all.

I travel by car once or twice a month because I love driving. After coming from Osaka, I stayed here on October 4th. The building was old, and in my twin room the only outlet was in the far corner. The front desk brought me a 5-meter extension cord when I asked, so I had to run it across the room. The public bath shower had no hot water, and the tub was grimy, with dirt floating in it. There were plenty of other problems too. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel itself has a strong Showa-era feel. If I had to pick something to improve, the guest rooms could be brighter.
