My parents and I stayed from 25APR19 to 28APR19, and had a fantastic time. The staff were cheerful and hospitable, the meals were delicious, possibly the best I've had at any hotel, and there were several hot springs. The location is hard to beat for hiking in the Kuju mountains, with trailheads less than a fifteen minute drive away. Sasebo is only two hours away as well. I'd recommend it to anyone after a quiet long weekend in the mountains.

It was an okay stay, though I had expected more. There were no towels in the bathroom, we could see cigarettes with burnt tips, and the lady at the front hadn't realized we were having dinner in our room. The hotel's dog, though, was so cute and clever he made our day.

It felt like staying in a traditional Japanese house, and the hot spring was good.
