Comfort Hotel Komatsu

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I could really relax in the large bathroom. The hotel felt luxurious, and even though it was quiet, the woman at the front desk was polite and welcoming.

I was traveling solo but got a spacious room, so I could relax. The facilities are old, though they provide coffee, there’s plenty of parking, and there are no extra fees. Breakfast is included, which made it feel like a good deal.

I was lucky to get a nice double room for under 8,000 yen on Saturday, though I imagine it depends on the day. It was spacious, clean and fantastic. I stayed the night before doing business in Kanazawa. Breakfast came with the room. The curry I’d been looking forward to was average, but the rice was delicious. Kanazawa stays are expensive, traffic is congested, and parking there is pricey and cramped. Here I could stay comfortably, and it’s only about 30 minutes by highway, or roughly the same on regular roads if morning traffic isn’t bad. Komatsu is definitely a good option for a stay.

I was here for three days and two nights. The hotel was good value, and the parking lot was reasonably spacious. When I came back in the evening and the lot was full, it looked like a few cars were parked in the aisle. Breakfast was buffet style. The selection was limited and the same kinds of food were served both days, though I liked that they had scrambled eggs. I’d use this hotel again.
