The hot bath was especially enjoyable and well designed, and the beds were warm and comfortable. We were a family of five staying one night, and the place felt cozy, with memorabilia and artifacts that made it seem like a small living museum. The lacquerware and wooden furniture were high quality, and the kitchen was practical. A curtain along the street-facing room could help save on heating. Mr. Nakamura was extremely helpful during our stay, thank you!

I stayed with my family of four on the second floor for one night before flying from Komatsu Airport the next day. The 90-year-old traditional house was cozy, and the manager was very kind. They even printed out the hotel information in Korean. There are only two floors with guest rooms, and the second floor has two rooms. We used one, and it was spacious for us. If you're coming with a larger family, the place can accommodate up to nine people. The traditional bathtub was made by renovating a stone warehouse, and my family really enjoyed it. There's also a small, pretty garden outside. The house has been renovated, but the structure is still old, so kids running on the second floor may make noise. Some of the ceilings are low, so watch your head. This was a perfect stay for my family, and I hope to visit again.

The staff were kind and polite, and I felt at ease. Since it's a guesthouse, you'll have chances to interact with other guests, so keep that in mind when using the facilities. If you can, I'd recommend renting the whole house. I had a wonderful time in this 90-year-old townhouse. It still has its charming old details, but the necessary renovations have left it feeling clean. The cypress bath, converted from a stone storehouse, was fantastic. Anyone who loves old houses would enjoy this place.

I rented the whole building with some high school friends. The charming wooden house was exactly the kind of place I'd always dreamed of staying in. It had been renovated, so it was clean and I didn't have concerns about its structure. There was plenty of space, and even though I worried it might be cold, the heating in every room worked well enough that we stayed warm at night. The Ishigura-no-Yu bath had a roomy changing area for several people, and it was great to stretch out and relax. The shared kitchen had basics like dishes and a rice cooker, so we could prepare food and eat together. A couple of things could be improved. The shared areas, kitchen included, were fully visible from outside, and I wondered if there was a way to screen them. There were several sinks, but hand soap at each one would have been useful, especially at this time of year when we wash our hands often. The ceiling is open, so conversations between the first and second floors carry easily. Keep that in mind if you're hoping for a quiet, restful stay. The staff were also very kind, and I wanted to thank them for their help.

I got to stay here after winning a giveaway from the magazine Favo. It's an unusual place to stay, with a nostalgic feeling and a space arranged for comfort and relaxation. The stone bath was especially fantastic. It's a room-only stay, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so that wasn't a problem. The station and a convenience store are close too, which makes the location excellent. Thank you!
