We got married here, and the garden was a lovely setting, all green with a large pond feature. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and they handled our advance request for vegan food. The meal was amazing. Prince William also stayed here.

The staff and service were excellent, and the baths were good, especially the big indoor one. The sauna was intensely hot, but I really enjoyed it. Well worth the cost, and I’d highly recommend it.

The rooms are mostly family-sized, traditional tatami rooms, and the place looks out over a Japanese garden. It’s on the expensive side, but the experience felt worth it. Food was delicious and the staff were lovely. There’s an indoor hot spring, a jacuzzi, a sauna, and an outdoor hot spring pool. Water from Inawashiro lake was diverted to run through the gardens toward Koriyama city. It’s a famous Japanese ryokan hotel where the Showa emperor stopped over, and Prince William stayed more recently.

It’s a traditional hot spring hotel with a nice view, and the facilities are well maintained. The bed was warm and really cozy!
