A lovely place to unwind for a few days and visit wineries. There’s wine tasting on the second floor, and the onsen’s outdoor bath leads to a small cave. The food was delicious, especially breakfast. They also offer a free tour of Maruki winery.

We got to go on a vineyard tour and wine tasting arranged by the ryokan, which was a great touch. The service and food were excellent, and the onsen has lovely views. The men’s and women’s sections switch on certain days, so you can enjoy different scenery.

We visited for a family trip alongside a visit to our family’s gravesite, and the atmosphere made it a special memory. The hospitality was wonderful, and the food showed off seasonal and local ingredients. Our room was fantastic, with a private outdoor bath and a pond where we could feed the koi.

We had a really full and enjoyable family stay. The staff were kind and polite, and the generous meals let us try plenty of Yamanashi’s local food. The large outdoor bath and sauna were great, then we had ice cream and beer afterward. We also read and chatted in the library, compared wines, and joined both a winery tour and a night view tour.
