It’s a nice hotel. We had three beds, so there wasn’t much room for other things, and I only slept here without trying the restaurant food. This is a self-service hotel. Bathrobes, extra towels, pillows, and yukata are set out on each floor near the lift, and guests take what they need.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room quality doesn't come close to justifying the unusually high nightly price. The place feels old, and the rooms are tiny with a bad smell. A double room seemed like a single with two pillows added, for twice the cost. We skipped breakfast and got food from a konbini instead.

Breakfast was good, and the place was clean, though it felt overpriced. The castle is about a 50-minute walk away. The room seems due for renovation soon. I also couldn't figure out how to open the windows from inside, and make sure the alarm is off!

The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, even though the rooms themselves are small and old. It's a cheap hotel, and Suisenji Park is nearby, which makes the location convenient. Breakfast costs 750¥.

The service was nice, and I appreciated being moved to a non-smoking triple room at no extra charge when I arrived. The only room I could get beforehand was a smoking single. The hotel is a bit dated.
