The facilities have everything I need, and getting straight to my room after parking is a real plus. I'm used to this sort of container-style lodging by now. At check-in, you can pick one snack or alcoholic drink, which is a nice touch.

I use container hotels a lot, so here's how this place compares with R9 The Yard, an early name in the field. The large refrigerator and roomy cups are good points. The room was freezing when I stayed in February as snow fell, with cold air coming up from the floor the whole time. Even with the heater at 28 degrees and blowing hard, it never got very warm. R9 is well insulated, and I've never felt cold there, even in winter. The free food here is just snacks and instant noodles, while R9 provides frozen meals. That's pretty disappointing. The TV is small. Sure, it can play YouTube and other things, but these days I can watch that on my phone or tablet. Honestly, if there's an R9 nearby, I don't see a reason to pick this place. The room is terrible. If winter is this cold, summer must get extremely hot, right? They'll need to lower the price to compete with R9.

The hotel is noisy, probably because it's ringed by major roads. A drugstore and a 100-yen shop next door make it handy for longer business trips. I heard trucks can park in the drugstore lot too.
