We loved being near the shopping centre, with everything we needed right there. Kurashiki is a beautiful town and well worth visiting. The apartment was comfortable and modern, in a great area close to the station. The kitchen was well equipped, and it even had a free washing machine and dryer. Our host was friendly and quick to respond. Thanks for a great stay 😊

The apartment is right across from Aria mall and Mitsuki outlet park, so the location was very convenient. The rooms are small, but there’s a washer, tub, and stove if you want to cook. The convenience store is about a 10-minute walk away. You can rent a bike, which was really useful for riding to Bikan Kurashiski at night.

I’ve booked Anb stays in Japan for a long time, and this was the worst experience I’ve had. I booked through the app and the owner immediately asked whether I needed parking. I said yes. I was supposed to get the room key passward seven days before arrival, but heard nothing. Two days before check-in, I tried every way I could to reach her: phone calls and voice messages, Line, app messages, Instagram messages, and an Instagram call. Nobody picked up, Line didn’t work, and there were no replies. I was left anxious, not knowing whether I’d actually have a place to stay. App customer service eventually reached her, but she wouldn’t answer my question about parking. On check-in day there was no parking spot for me, and she still didn’t answer my call. After half an hour she finally replied that the lot was full, apologized, and told me to use a nearby coin parking lot. It was 6 in the evening, and then I couldn’t reach her again. She sent a map to the coin lot at 4 in the morning. It was a deeply frustrating stay. I don’t think this owner is fit to run an Anb hotel, and the experience tarnished my good impression of Japanese people. Skip this place if you want to avoid holiday anxiety, no matter how cheap it is.

The apartment has lots of little touches that make it feel warm and homey. The owner is easy to reach on what’s app, and communication was simple. They answered all my questions really well. There’s also a free bike to use. I wish I could have stayed much longer. Thank you 🙏
