The meals were a highlight: I’d recommend getting both dinner and breakfast for the authentic Japanese food, lovely setting, and friendly people. The rooms were lovely too, and the location was great.

We had a nice stay in this lovely town. The hotel feels fairly new, with modern decor, and it’s in a great spot. The staff made us feel welcome.

Aside from one person, the buffet staff were friendly, and I have no other complaints. The breakfast buffet did feel a bit expensive for the experience, though. One man in black chef clothes serving at 8:45am on Tuesday 29/7/25 came across as rude. He seemed to comment on customers, nudge his colleagues, point at people, and giggle.

The room was thoughtfully laid out, with a desk and seating area and still enough space to open a suitcase. It was clean, modern, and spacious, with a comfortable bed. I liked the jeans-style pajamas, a nod to the area’s jeans history. It’s a fairly new business hotel close to the station.

The bath was nice, and the rooms were clean. It’s near restaurants and just a short walk from the historical area, so the fairly low price feels reasonable. There’s no parking or place to unload a car, though, and I don’t like that the outside windows can’t be opened at all.
