For solo travel, I think this is the most convenient option. It's reasonably clean, though the surfaces could use attention, so I'd definitely bring antiseptic wipes. There's free wifi, but no free breakfast now, and no hair conditioner. You can pick up travel-size toiletries at Family Mart near the train station. The elevator only fits one person. The location is easy to spot: look right as you leave Kushimoto Station. Foreign visitors can book online through Rakuten Travel using Google translate. Check-in is at 3pm and check-out at 10am.

For a frugal traveller who just needs somewhere to sleep, this is the sort of place to look at. Keep your expectations low.

I picked this hotel by the station for a rocket launch trip. Getting there is easy, and its sign is visible as soon as you come out of the station. Supermarkets, convenience stores, bookstores, and taxi companies are all just a short walk away. The place is simple but does the job for a stay. I was stuck trying to get my computer working, and some other guests kindly helped reset it. I really appreciated their kindness. Thank you very much.

The free hot spring is a nice feature in what is otherwise a standard business hotel. Staff were polite and kind, and I could relax there. My futon bed was very comfortable. Smoking rooms are rare these days, so that's why I gave it five stars. There was a fair amount of noise from the next room, but that didn't bother me since I think it's common in business hotels. The parking lot is a bit small and has no motorcycle racks, though there was enough room to park. I'd stay again if I get the chance.
