If you're after peace, privacy, and a spot away from the village crowds, this is a fantastic choice, and we'd happily come back. The villas at Andaru Niseko Villas are beautiful, spread over two thoughtfully designed floors, with tasteful details that make them feel both luxurious and comfortable. It's about a 10-minute drive to town, so it feels remote, but the complimentary shuttle was excellent and made getting around easy. If being able to walk to restaurants or stay in the middle of the village matters to you, this probably isn't the right fit.

The restaurant was one of our favorite parts of Andaru. The menu was balanced and worked for both Western and Japanese tastes, and breakfast and dinner were excellent. Chef Kaduna served us dinner personally and humbly. The food and service there were great, and I'd happily eat there again. The shuttle was a big help since we didn't have a car. It took us from our door to the Kombini and back when we needed supplies, and the staff were wonderful. WhatsApp was the best way to reach them, and they helped with anything we needed. Thanks to everyone, especially Rina. We'd spent several days at a very nice, expensive ski-in/ski-out place in Hirafu, then wanted a change of pace, so my wife booked a couple of days at Andaru to relax. It cost a fraction of our Hirafu place. The accommodation was a real five-star standard, with high-end appliances including Balmuda, multiple levels, and several toilets. There'd be room for a family with two or three kids. The views were amazing, and we saw foxes and rabbits from the balcony. When we booked, especially at that price, we wondered if there was a catch. It's not ski-in/ski-out, but it's only a few minutes from the main Hirafu slopes, and the shuttle makes it easy. This would be our preference when we return to Niseko for skiing. The accommodation and service are hard to beat. Quite possibly one of the best places we've stayed in Japan.

We had a really happy day at Andaru after a difficult one. The architecture was stunning, the food was good, and the staff took great care of us. Our duplex room was lovely, even though there's no hot spring bath. Manager Mr. Hata****** kindly helped us get a taxi for a long trip at a low fare, and the other staff were friendly and eager to help, too. It was a moving day, and I think I'll remember it.

We liked Andaru's quiet, secluded location near Hirafu. It was also convenient for getting to Annipuri ski resort, and we felt relaxed staying there. The service was very nice, and our villa was clean and beautiful during our seven-night stay. A couple of things could be improved: breakfast was good but didn't have much variety, so after more than three nights we'd have wanted more choices. It would also be more convenient for longer stays to have a washing machine in the villa.

I proposed to my partner at the hotel, and the staff arranged decorations, flowers, and a guitar for the surprise. They went beyond what I expected, and I'll always treasure those memories. The team were easy to communicate with in English and made us feel very welcome. Andaru Niseko Villas is a place I'd highly recommend for a special occasion, thanks to the attentive service and genuine care.
