Chatrium Niseko

We've taken nine trips to Japan, and this was the best hotel of them all. Our two-bedroom place was spacious and clean, with a living room and kitchen, and just about everything you could imagine in a room. There were so many items and cabinets that a few things were hard to find. The entrance signs from the car park were a bit small and easy to miss. The lack of a bathtub didn't bother us, but the shower head felt old-fashioned and the water pressure was too weak. The bathroom floor got very cold at night, so we needed to bring slippers into the shower. Apart from that, everything was perfect. A convenience store is only a minute's walk away, and there's a magnificent view of Mt.Yotei.

The room felt modern, with a very nice bed and superb bedding. Most rooms look out toward Mt Yotei and Mt Annapuri. Chatrium Niseko offers a shuttle to Ace Gondola and King gondola in Hirafu, about a five-minute drive away. The hotel is also just steps from restaurants, Seicomart, and the Hirafu intersection bus and shuttle stop. Local onsens are a ten-minute walk away. There's a Rhythm rental return at the hotel, so we didn't have to take our skis and boots back to the rental store.

We stayed for seven nights in March and would happily do it again. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, reception was friendly and attentive, and the shuttle to the gondolas came often. There are several good restaurants and cafes in the hotel, with even more within 100 m. The cleaning crew was a little slow. On a couple of occasions, they didn't get to our room.

We spent five days here on a ski holiday and loved it. The staff were so helpful, and the service was exceptional. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and the kitchenette with a full fridge was useful for breakfast and snacks. There was also a lovely welcome breakfast basket. It’s steps from the Cremia soft serve truck and conveniently close to a Seicomart and Lawson. They'll store your luggage and can call Rhythm if you need to rent skis or snowboards. Rhythm offers complimentary pickup and drop-off when you get your skis. There's a service counter at the hotel, so you can return skis there without going back to the main store. The boot room, ski lockers, and shuttle to the Ace and King gondolas, with pickup afterward, made things easy.
