It’s a cozy three-bedroom house in a great spot, with a view of the famous Mount Yotei. The big downside is that you can’t use the fireplace.

The house had fantastic amenities and was in a great spot, away from the riff raff but close enough to walk everywhere. The shuttle bus stop is only a short walk away. We were told the place could sleep up to eight, but weren’t given details about the futons. They turned out to be mini mattresses on the floor. Still, it’s a great house for six.

(Updated in 2023) They’ve installed air conditioning in the third-floor living room. The wooden interior is really stylish and beautiful.
