We booked M Lodge at the last minute for our Niseko trip with a group of six, and the staff made the stay. Keith and his team, Maya, Lucy, and Madison, were friendly, helpful, and clearly cared about making things go smoothly. They helped with transport and bookings, shared local tips, and recommended restaurants. Sam also deserves a shoutout for knowing the slopes and where to find the best powder. The location is right in town, just minutes from Hirafu/Rhythm. When things got too busy to get a cab, we could simply walk, and restaurants and bars were easy to reach. After a day on the slopes, the clean, roomy rooms and heating were much appreciated. The common areas gave our big group a good place to hang out. We’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend M Lodge for a Niseko trip.

We only got to stay one night, and both wished it had been longer. The location is brilliant, the staff are so friendly, and breakfast was really convenient. Maya and Madison also shared excellent local knowledge. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is right in the middle of everything, and our back-side room was quiet, though the view was only of an alley. At the holidays it was packed with college-aged partygoers and everything was pricey. That was entertaining, to say the least. The room was on the small side but functional, with a fridge, freezer, microwave, and electric kettle. Room service wasn’t great. Breakfast was okay, and the brewed coffee was weak, though the instant coffee was actually good. I’d give it 3.5 stars, but the manager and staff were great, so I rounded up.

The noise was unbearable, with bar music blaring through the windows. The bathrooms were trailers, and the toilet was in the shower. The bed felt like cardboard, and the floor was more comfortable, but there wasn’t room to sleep on it. This was the worst experience of my life. It wasn’t cheap, and I felt scammed. I’d rather sleep in my car. Stay somewhere else.

Good value and well placed for the shuttle bus, restaurants, and bars, while still being very quiet. The staff were really helpful, and picking up and dropping off ski rental gear was quick and easy. Can't fault the place.
