Sansui Niseko

We visited from Malaysia and felt really looked after at Sansui Niseko. The hotel was beautiful and warm, and its location was just right. The team were caring and helpful, arranging transport and helping us return our ski rental equipment. They made sure everything went smoothly and kept us comfortable from the beginning to the end of our stay, December 8-10. Thanks to the Sansui Niseko team for making the trip so memorable. Highly recommended!

The location and amenities were great, and the staff went above and beyond. This was probably the best ski resort I've stayed at. I'd definitely recommend it!

The staff at Sansui helped us through a rough arrival. After a long, hectic journey, the airline had lost all our baggage, and they helped us contact the airline to get it back. They also rearranged some plans since we had none of our gear or clothes. We've stayed in lovely places around the world, but Sansui exceeded every expectation and is now my favorite place I've ever stayed. Breakfast had a wonderful variety and excellent quality, a perfect start to the day. I'm still dreaming about the croissants, which put some famous bakeries back home to shame. Being next to family chair made skiing in and out very convenient. The spa was great too. We had several massages, and the therapists were really good, which can be hit or miss at hotels. One private onsen booking is complimentary, and you can book more for a small fee. My one suggestion is to offer tea in the waiting area after a service. The complimentary shuttle was a big help for getting around town. I'd recommend arranging it ahead so they have availability. And a random thing, I'm generally sensitive to smells, but I loved the scent in the lobby and hallways. We had an excellent stay and hope to come back soon.

Every staff member made us feel welcome, and the thoughtful service never let up. Nothing seemed too much trouble, from the locker room staff to the shuttle drivers, who made it feel almost like we had a limousine on call. The hotel has a beautiful modern design, with lots of off-form concrete and raw finishes. Skiing in and out made the days easy and enjoyable, and having our own gear locker took away the hassle. Our large, cozy room felt more like an apartment, with a spacious kitchen and all the tools we needed. We did laundry each night so we were ready to ski again in the morning. The luxurious Onsen was just right after a long day on the slopes. We used the gym for stretching, though it also has cardio and weights. Breakfast was good quality, but we would've liked more variety. We had muesli in our room and added eggs from the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel.
