Shirokuma 2 has loads of living and dining space, so 8-10 people can be comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. The laundry room has a washer and dryer, plus somewhere to hang clothes. There's also a big dry room for snow gear and two shower rooms, one with a bathtub. Getting up the hill to Hirafu base is a long walk, so starting from family base would be better. The two bedrooms with three beds each feel cramped when all three people are staying in them, especially with luggage.
