Tanoshii Chalet by H2 Life

I’ve stayed at Aspect Niseko for six seasons now. All the apartments have a view of Mount Yotei, and the concierge shuttle to the ski stations and back saves a lot of walking, even though the property is in med Hirafu. The service staff are always polite and helpful. By Japanese standards, the apartment is spacious, especially the living and dining rooms, and the kitchen is well equipped.

We came across this place online, and it turned out even better than we expected. The location is great, with plenty of restaurants, bars, a market, and food trucks just one block away. Our unit was really spacious, had great showers, and came with everything we needed, including lots of extra blankets in every room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again if we returned to Japan to ski.

We wanted to stay away from the busy slopes, and this lovely villa in a pretty, secluded area was just right. The living area was cozy, with stunning views every day, and there’s a long kitchen bench that works well for shared meals. Everything was clean, modern, and well appointed. H2 Life provided exceptional service.

The layout works really well, from the gear room by the entrance to the open, spacious living area. It’s cozy, with heated bathroom floors and great lighting. One of my top five vacation homes from the past few years.
