Botanical Pool Club

The pools were amazing, especially the infinity pool that seems to spill over the mountain edge. Such a gorgeous place for relaxing and taking photos. The rooms were nice and the atmosphere was great. It hardly felt like Japan. I want to come back in summer.

I really enjoyed the surroundings, and the restaurant staff were friendly and good at their jobs. But after we parked, nobody came to pick us up or help with our bags. A lot of things weren't explained at the front desk, either. I had to ask about breakfast time and where dinner was, and I had booked a pool house but nobody explained it to me. There were no lifeguards at the pool, which felt quite dangerous. The front desk and pool service need improvement.

The view from the infinity pool across the landscape and sea was breathtaking, and the pools were lovely at just the right temperature. We came as a couple for a romantic weekend at BPC and had such a good time that the two days seemed to fly by. The welcome was warm, our room was bright, clean, convenient, and had a wonderful view. The sauna and jacuzzi were clean, spacious, and easy to use. The poolside bar made delicious mojitos, the lounge music suited the mood, and even the scents in the air were pleasant. The whole place has a cool vibe, and the restaurant food was so good. Thanks to the whole BPC Team for a great stay. We'll definitely return!

The food at the restaurant was great across the board, though I would've liked slightly bigger portions. This resort in Chiba is about an hour from Tokyo, with pools at its center. If you're local, it can feel like you've left Japan: the rooms are a good size, there are palm trees, several pools, saunas, a whirlpool, a dog run, and good food and drinks. It still has the quality omotenashi service Japan is known for. The experience is lively, and the villas and upper-floor rooms have grills. Rooms include a selection of drinks and snacks. I liked that there are no TVs, but free WiFi is available throughout. The Sweatlodge has hot and cold whirlpools, plus complimentary soup and drinks. You can get there by car, train and shuttle, or helicopter. Highly recommended, and I hope to be back soon.
