City Hotel Mineyama

Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, and you can tell the meals are prepared with care. The facilities are a bit old, but the staff made us feel very welcome. Thank you for looking after us.

Breakfast was the highlight for me. There were several homemade simmered dishes, including eggplant the cook had prepared a lot of the day before, along with potato salad, tomatoes, and tomato and cucumber salad. The grilled salmon was a generous cut and tasted high quality, even if it was commercially prepared. The macaroni salad and omelets may have been too. I was very satisfied. I stayed several nights, and the location was handy, with Mine shopping center, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. The front desk staff were welcoming and spoke loudly. Apart from weak shower pressure and ice kept on a tray in the refrigerator, I had no major issues. Thank you.

The staff were kind and took good care of us, and the breakfast was decent for the price. Rates were still reasonable during Obon, so I stayed here. I’d happily book again next time I come fishing.

The staff were so warm and welcoming. The woman in the dining room even brought me some fried chicken on the house 🤫🤫. If I’m in the area again, I’d definitely stay here.
