The room was about average in size for Japan. My only suggestion would be to get better pillows.

The food and service at the restaurant were very good, and we liked the standing shower and the location. Sadly, the rest we came for was a disaster. We booked two rooms for two nights with my family, and both were at the end of the corridor beside a machine that kept pumping noisily all night. We couldn't sleep, and when we asked to move, there were no rooms available. The staff were very helpful, even though they didn't speak English, but they couldn't offer a solution. I wouldn't stay here again because of the noise, though I'd return to the restaurant if I had the chance.

The hotel is updated and feels very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were consistently friendly. It's also close to JR Mineyama Station.

After reopening following renovations, the place offers a decent price and an outstanding breakfast. The public bath isn't available at the moment, though there's still a shower in the room.

A quiet, pleasant hotel, with an excellent restaurant right there. Convenient if you're visiting Kyotango.
