Hotel Minato Yuyu

I went for the lunch buffet the other day and really enjoyed it. They also seemed to be taking thorough measures against coronavirus. I'd love to go again.

My son had a great time in the kids' space on the third floor, and we all relaxed in the indoor and outdoor hot spring baths. There was also a spot in the observation lounge where you could lie down and take in the view. The place had the relaxing charm of an old-fashioned inn. Dinner and breakfast were both buffets, and every dish was top quality. The staff were kind and attentive, and the whole family was very happy with our stay. Such a shame it's closing.

We come every year for the all-you-can-eat crab, and I think it ranks among the better places overall. You can have plenty of crab boiled, grilled, or as shabu-shabu, even if it isn't branded crab. The building is old, so I don't expect much from that side of things. There's a good variety of other dishes too, and they even have soft serve. It isn't luxurious, but I'd recommend it for families.

Every dish at the all-you-can-eat crab buffet was delicious, and we left very satisfied. Breakfast was great too, especially the black bean porridge. My friend was staying here for the first time and was really happy. My husband and I are members, so we come whenever we can. My brother and his wife were here last week, and it's a favorite inn for our family. We went on a crab trip with a couple of friends starting Friday and stayed in the same room as last year, lol. It's such a shame it's closing in April. Thank you very much.
