A really great spot, brand new, and the staff speak English. The internet connection is very, very good. There's a train line outside, but it doesn't run at night. You also get a free parking space nearby, and it was no problem to leave the car there for a few hours after checking out. Awesome!

So far, my favorite spot in Kyoto for coffee and cake. Simple and delicious.

We booked this private house inn for four people. Since it had just opened in March 2017 and the price was reasonable, we honestly weren't expecting much. Once we arrived, though, the place exceeded our expectations. The facilities, equipment, amenities, cleanliness, and location were all impeccable. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto.
