The gym has modern equipment, and the laundry room was handy. Rooms were a decent size for Japan, with good air pumps and nice showers. The staff were kind and thoughtful, and the Courtyard is well situated. Good value in a city that can get very expensive for tourists.

1/2026 I chose this hotel for its location and cleanliness, and it lived up to that. Yanashita-san made check-in easy and took good care of me, which set a great tone for the stay. He and the other staff always greeted me with warm smiles, and my housekeeper was friendly and thorough. The lobby coffee machine also made a great matcha latte to start my mornings. Just outside the front door, down a small hallway only seconds away, there's a little bar with great craft beer and food. What a find. The restaurant staff were friendly too. A very good stay. 😉🤙✌️

The minimalist Japanese wooden design made the room simple but very comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy. The small bathtub was a welcome help after long days exploring. As Titanium members, we were warmly recognized when we arrived and received the appropriate benefits. We picked Courtyard Kyoto because it's relatively new and we were curious to try it. Staff were professional, welcoming, and helpful throughout. The coffee and matcha machine in the lobby was available anytime, which was a lovely perk. Breakfast was the weak point: it felt basic and could be better for a hotel of this quality. Still, a pleasant stay and a solid Kyoto option if you like modern design and good service.

We found laundry on site, and it was cheap, which helped on a longer trip. The hotel is right by the train station and just a short walk from several attractions. Rooms are spacious, modern, comfortable, and well equipped. The staff are helpful, housekeeping happens daily, and both the restaurant and bakery on site are excellent. The website described it as a new hotel, and that was obvious. A great choice for a Kyoto visit, and I'd recommend it.
