The rooms are very small, but they have lots of useful amenities, and the bathroom and shower are great. Breakfast offers a ton of choices, with a clean, well-stocked breakfast room. It’s also an excellent spot, about a two-minute walk from the KyotoTrain Station.

Kyoto Station is just a one-minute walk away, and the staff were friendly and very polite. We stayed with our son and had a nice room. I’d choose this hotel again if I return to Kyoto.

All seven floors of guest rooms share just three small washer-dryers and one microwave. The 7-11 in the hotel has very limited choices for people with shellfish allergies or those eating vegan. They didn’t have tofu sticks like other 7-11s.

We found the room tidy and very nice when we arrived, and the buffet breakfast had a great range of food. The service was amazing too. The hotel is in the downtown area near two good malls, with a 7eleven next door where we could use the ATM and exchange money. That store was really convenient and seemed to have everything. Kyoto Station is about a three-minute walk away, with buses, subways and bullet trains all accessible. We highly recommend it!

It was good value for the money, and the room was pleasant for the night we needed before moving to a machiya kyon. The rooms aren’t very large, but that worked fine for our short stay. From Kyoto Station it took about five minutes on foot. The front desk staff were so welcoming, had a Halloween photo booth set up, and gave us free Halloween cookies. They also had some nice complimentary toiletries available.
