The Japan Experience team were kind, easy to reach, and always happy to share useful advice while we were there. We rented both neighboring houses, which share a wall, for our group of five, and that setup worked really well. Staying in a traditional Japanese house made the trip especially memorable, and it was easy to explore Kyoto from there. We loved the whole experience and would recommend it 1000%.

A quiet setting just steps from a bus stop, with direct rides to Kyoto Station and Gion. The townhouse is compact but works even for a longer stay, and it’s clean, tidy, and fully equipped for cooking and laundry.
