The staff were so friendly, and as a Filipino, I especially recommend this place to other Filipinos since the staff are Filipino too. We had a great stay. If you cook, you can use the condiments and cookware, and we gave one of the staff some of the food we made to say thanks. He was very happy about it. It's easy to get around from here, about a 15-minute drive from Arashiyama and the bamboo forest. They also have a parking lot for guests' cars. If you're looking for somewhere nice to stay during your Kyoto trip, this is a great choice.
