Guesthouse OKI's Inn - Hostel

The hosts were amazing and so kind. This is a magical place if you want a traditional ryokan with modern comforts like air conditioning and a great shower. I had the best sleep of my life on their futons.

A cozy little place that feels like being at home and part of the family. It was very clean, and the owners were excellent and friendly. There are train lines nearby, plus plenty of good food options and tourist spots.

Taka and Yuka were so kind and helpful, and their warm hospitality made our stay special. The room was peaceful and cozy, and the futons were incredibly comfortable. We rented bicycles from them and had an amazing time exploring Kyoto, including places outside the city. It really felt like home, and we’re grateful for everything.

The place had a calm, welcoming feel, and we felt at home from the first moment of our three-night stay in Kyoto. It was cozy and beautifully arranged, but Taka and Yuka made it truly unforgettable. They’re warm, kind, loving, and so thoughtful and attentive. They helped us and made sure we had everything we could need. This was the most special and meaningful place we stayed during the trip. It was a lovely spot to rest, recharge, and feel cared for, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely come back to Kyoto for the comfort, kindness, and personal touch.
