Glanz Kei Kyoto Station

Our stay was made especially enjoyable by the attentive staff. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the neighborhood was quiet. It’s easy to walk to the train station, and Aeon Mall is right next door, with local and international shops and a good supermarket for picking up supplies.

We felt safe walking around at night, and the neighborhood was very quiet. It was easy to find the place and check in, and the owner was accommodating about our late arrival because of the AK Air shutdowns. The staff were extremely friendly and made sure we had what we needed. The beds were comfortable, with traditional and regular styles to choose from. There were two A/C units and an air purifier, and the washer was very clean. The clothes drying setup was unfamiliar to us but worked well. Appliances could be borrowed for free, and there was free coffee along with plenty of dishes and cookware.

We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The unit fit our family of four comfortably, with two beds and traditional bedding. It also had two air conditioning units, one in the shared space and one in the bedroom, plus a washing machine and drying setup in the bathroom. It’s a great location near Kyoto Station and Aeon Mall. We could walk from the station with our suitcases in about five minutes. Booking was easy, and the staff communicated well throughout.

The staff were kind, knowledgeable, and very accommodating, even with my limited Japanese. The room was quiet, clean, spacious, and comfortable for my family. It’s less than a ten-minute walk from Kyoto Station, with Aeon Mall just two minutes away for food and shopping. There are also about a dozen places to eat outside the mall within a five-minute walk. This is now my go-to hotel in Kyoto. Many thanks to everyone who helped us!
