A warm, friendly host who was very helpful, and a spotless place. Honestly, this is the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed in outside my own home, literally dust free. It’s a modern living space with high ceilings and a breathtaking view of the Duck River. There’s a direct bus to Kyoto Station, four stops away. Supermarkets, restaurants, and convenience stores are all within walking distance. Definitely a great base for exploring Kyoto and the surrounding area!

Kei & Ritsuko were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and went out of their way to meet our needs. Our return flights were cancelled, so we had to extend our stay. By the end, they felt like family away from home. They also know Kyoto really well. The accommodation was spotless and had all the home comforts and essentials we needed. The rooms and bathrooms were bigger than usual for Japan, which felt like a nice bit of luxury. We had a beautiful view of the Kamogawa river right in front of us. The location was excellent, with central Kyoto a short walk or an even shorter bus ride away, and the bus stop right outside. It was lovely to have a relaxing bath after long days exploring Kyoto.

We used this as our base for several days in Kyoto. It’s within walking distance of Fushimi Inari shrine and the JiJo subway, and the friendly staff had great recommendations. If we come back to Japan, we’ll stay here again!

Fushimi Inari Taisha is only a few minutes away, and the location was ideal. The place felt like an incredible home away from home, with all the amenities you could ask for. Highly recommend.
